First Day of School (Preprimary)
First Day of School!
Sagewood School learners are back to school and already preparing for another successful year. Despite the rainy weather, learners and staff were in great spirits as they arrived at school, eager to find out what is new for the 2015 school year.
The rainy weather in Midrand did not dampen the spirits of young learners who were fascinated and excited to explore all the indoor activities on offer (fantasy play, various creative arts, construction of toys and book corners) and they were introduced to our theme for the week “ our school” orientating them to the new classes and school environment.
“All employees throughout the school contributed
to a very positive first day and we continue to work hard to ensure that this
momentum carries well into the year.” Ms Johreen Patel

Back to school season
can mean lots of firsts... first-day jitters, first time to be away from Mom
and Dad, first-time learning and new schools. Our learners settled in quickly
to the new environment and appeared to be engaged and thoroughly enjoying
themselves and readily expressive their holiday experiences with their new
teachers.
