Preprimary School Parent Ring 2014

Donate a tree campaign by Willow Feather Farm

We are truly grateful for the opportunity afforded to us by Willow Feather Farm who today visited our school and supplied all learners and staff indigenous trees to plant at our homes.

The impact of planting trees is one of the ways of offsetting our carbon emissions.

Planting trees greens and beautifies the areas in which they are planted.

Trees absorb carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen.

Congratulations to Yatin Fakir and Nayan Makanjee (SACEE awards)

Congratulations to Yatin Fakir and Nayan Makanjee who received Gold Certificates for being winners in their respective categories, they were also judged to be the Overall Winners in Gauteng.

As the overall winners they both also received Teddy Bears as gifts, in addition to the gold certificates and book prizes. There were only three Teddy bear gifts awarded at the SACEE awards on Saturday, two of which were awarded to Sagewood Learners. This enabled Sagewood to be awarded 4th place overall amongst schools in Gauteng, and to also be awarded the Gold Certificate.

Preprimary - Mini Athletics

The Sagewood Preprimary School organised a Mini Athletics which took place on the 1 November. Below are the pictures that shows what took place. The competitiveness also was experienced by certain learners and fun was had by all. The event was well attended, we would like to extend our appreciation to all parents for their support.
