Mandela Day 2013
As
a tribute to an extraordinary man who embodies the highest values of humanity.
Today Sagewood School celebrated the 67 years of service Nelson Mandela gave toward the fight for human
rights.

08:30 Learners return to classes to write
down special wishes for Madiba.
All
wishes must be submitted to the class teacher and head of departments.
All submissions will be used to create a
collage which will be shared with the community.

We are also collecting non-perishables which will be donated to the New Jerusalem Children's Home as small gesture of
solidarity with humanity and a step towards a global movement for good.
As a school we extend our best wishes to former President Nelson Mandela
on his 95th birthday; he will remain a symbol of change and
unity in our lives.
